ARTISTIC WORK
Things I’ve built.
Robotic Owl
An ongoing build: a balcony-protection robot with a camera in one eye and a water turret in the other.
Inside the build.
Explore the full CAD assembly or switch to a cutaway to see the mechanisms and electronics inside. The cutaway removes half of the outer shells while keeping the internal components intact.
This is a working prototype design. The body, electronics tray and latest eye assembly are provisional; camera and electronics models include reference envelopes. Final PCB design, wiring and hose routing are not included, and physical fit and full assembly validation are still pending.
A performance prop for clown shows.
The briefcase is part of an ongoing clown performance. Someone else controls it remotely while I improvise with it in front of a live audience.
Build highlights
- A standard briefcase with a custom mechanism inside.
- Two side locks, each driven by a servo.
- Two servos open and close the lid.
- A small cannon fires shredded paper, as if the case has eaten it.
Made to fit.
I adapted the mask to my own face, widening the forehead, adjusting the eye opening and refining the overall shape for a more comfortable fit.
A comfort-focused remix of Dr Swaster’s original Phantom of the Opera mask .
From concept to print.
A fusion of traditional making and emerging technology. This was my first experiment with AI-assisted concept development and 3D modelling: I started with text-to-image generation, then used image-to-3D tools to turn the concept into a model.
After 3D printing, I assembled the trophy by hand, using dowels to join the parts and a hammer to fit the lettering into the base.
The finished trophy pairs a gold chef figure with a black pedestal, a first-place medal and “Best Chef” lettering.
